Growth Chambers
Four Phoenix Research chambers are included in our PC2 / QP1 Controlled Environment facility.
These chambers feature:
- 11.7 m2 growth space
- High-pressure sodium lighting
- Tap or RO water irrigation
- Variable light intensity and hight
- Temperature control from 2ºC to 40ºC
- Constant logging of temperature and humidity
Full-service or rental use are available for the Growth Chambers.

Radiative Frost Simulator
A unique frost chamber has been constructed in our controlled environment facility.
Features include:
- Simulated radiative chilling ramped +20 to –20 ºC
- Controlled root / floor temperature
- Capacity for 72 growth pots (200 mm diameter)
- Air temperature mapping and recording
- Suitable for use with quarantined or genetically modified plants
- Contract frost tolerance screening available
