Wine and biodiversity. Australia’s icons to benefit from genomics research.

The Australian Genome Research Facility (AGRF) awarded funding to two research projects as part of the pilot program which enables access to genotyping and genome sequencing services at AGRF. This is the first step towards a larger vision of establishing a South Australian-based genomics hub that delivers research and outcomes to the agriculture and environmental sectors.

The two research projects at the University of Adelaide will use leading genomic expertise and technologies to benefit the wine industry and biodiversity conservation.
